The Blinds Place offers a delivery service to mainland Australia only. Should you require your new blinds or curtains to
be delivered overseas, please note that it is your responsibility to arrange the onforwarding from an Australian
mainland address.
Delivery timeframes
Delivery times will vary depending on the product ordered and the delivery location.
- Ready made products: 5-7 working days
- Custom made products: 10-20 working days
Please note that our custom made aluminium venetian blinds and honeycomb blinds are manufactured overseas and involve
longer delivery timeframes. Aluminium venetian blinds take 2-4 weeks for delivery and honeycomb blinds 2 weeks.
Processing status
As soon as your order has left the factory you will receive a courier tracking number via email. Prior to dispatch, your
order will need to be processed which may need to include the following steps:
- Order review
- Product picking and resizing
- Fabric or material ordering
- Build and quality assurance
- Packaging prior to dispatch
Once you have received your courier tracking number you will be able to track the location of your order and see the
estimated delivery time on the courier’s website. You can also contact the courier directly if required.
If you haven’t yet received your courier tracking number and you have any questions or concerns about the timeframes
involved, please contact The Blinds Place by replying to your original order email and we will contact the factory to
ascertain the estimated time of dispatch.

The Blinds Place delivers to all Australian mainland addresses. Please see our delivery fees below;

Blinds, curtains and accessories: $25.00 (incl. GST) per order
Product samples
Upon receipt of order payment, samples will be dispatched within 24 hours. Samples will be delivered via Australia post.
Depending on your location, this can take 2-5 business days.
Product delivery
We have a network of courier companies across Australia with the company used dependent upon your location. On dispatch
of your order, you will receive a consignment note number and courier company information via email. Unless you have
chosen the ‘Ship to a different address?’ option and provided a shipping address, your order will be delivered to your
billing address.
- Leave if unattended: Your order will be left at the delivery address as per your instructions.
- Signature required on delivery: Please ensure that someone will be at the designated delivery address to sign for
your order. A calling card will be left at the delivery address and you will need to contact the courier company
directly to make alternative delivery arrangements. - Split dispatch: If your order includes products from several suppliers, your order may need to be sent in more
than one delivery. For each product dispatched separately, you will receive an email with the courier company
information and consignment note number.
