I contacted the Blinds place as I was seeking 'NORMAN' plantation shutters to match some existing ones that were already in the house. The Blinds Place seemed one of the few companies that had these. Leon came over to give me a quote and I found him to be excellent. He knew exactly what he was talking about and was able to give some very helpful advice. I proceeded with the order straight away. Stefan and his father that installed the shutters were very nice men and they did an excellent job of installing them. I've had a lot of positive feedback about the way they look so I'm happy!

Organised a measure and quote for plantation shutters, person who came out to quote never listened at all to what i was asking for even when arranging a time for the quote had to explain 4 times when I was available. Received 6 missed calls a week later (all on the same day) to follow up on the quote, called back and explained that I was also getting other quotes then making a decision. Keep receiving numerous calls throughout the weeks following. Would not recommend unless you like being harassed.

We love our Roman blinds made by Blinds Place. We were uncertain about the best option for us, and confused by the numerous conflicting views from other manufacturers. So we were pleased with the thoughtful and honest guidance from Blinds Place.The service was excellent from the visit to the Showroom to measure, quotation, installation and post sales follow up. Our calls about details of the making process were welcomed and answered precisely. The small problem we had was rectified promptly without question. The blinds are made to a high quality and work well. We would happily use Blinds Place to make future blinds for us.

Great company to work with and good quality product. Irene from the design side came out and really knew her stuff, gave me great advice and helped me pick colours and designs that really suited our house. The guys who measured and installed were also great, you could tell they knew the product ins and outs and what would work best from the install and fit side of things. The installers even removed all the boxes the blinds arrived in, which doesn’t happen nowadays! The only small gripe I have is that the installers left sawdust from drill holes everywhere. Would have been nice if they had cleaned up after themselves. Other than that small negative, very happy with the products and the service.

We have just had installed our third lot of Plantation Shutters by The Blinds Place Moorabbin. As always from the first phone call, through to the quoting process, along with the test measure, to installation, everything has gone like clock work. Not to mention the Shutters look fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Even our tricky Bay Windows look amazing. Great to see after all these years you sent out the same experienced installers today. Leon the sales person was very helpful and professional talking me through the selection of fabrics and giving me choice of colours for the hardware. He also recommended a slimline double blind bracket that was perfect for my window so I could fit both a blockout and privacy blind in my windows.The office staff were also professional and Leon organised for me to drop into their showroom in Moorabbin to make sure I was happy with my colours and could see samples of what I was getting.The Blinds Place were also the cheapest out of 6 quotes I had.The production of my blinds were 2-3 weeks as stated by Leon and the installation guy was on time and did a fantastic job.I am extremely pleased with the result.

I went into the store to check out samples and i made it really clear I was ordering the blinds online and installing them ourselves. After 3 ltrips there for various reasons we found the fabric and was told they would contact the suppliers and let us know if they could do the blinds in that fabric as they had recently run short of it, therefore stopping that line. I was called back and they could do the blinds but because they had recently taken the blinds offline they would need someone to measure and quote for them even though we had the measurements and just wanted to order them. I was advised it would cost more becsuse it required them to come out to take the measurements and input the information into the system. I reiterated we had the measurements and just wanted to add it to our online order. Again I was advised this couldn't be done without sending someone out.. iI seems crazy that a company cant accept an order over email or in person without sending someone out and charging extra Because of the lack of service or flexibility I told the manager Ben that I would have to go elsewhere to get our whole house new blinds. At no point did Ben try and save us as customers even though it was a whole house we wanted to fit out. The Blinds Place clearly doesnt need individuals business if they can let a customer leave because they wouldnt manually add 2 blinds to an order consisting the only reason I couldn't order it online is because of low stock. The Blinds Place showed no flexibility or even anyone to think outside of the box. Ben was a lovely bbn person, probably great with blinds but just didn't go the extra mile for the customer.

Ben is a great person to deal with. He sent me out 2 clips for my panel glide blinds free of charge, when initially I sent photos of my clips to 30 other Blind suppliers, and no one was willing to help me. Great service and supplies.

We required a new blind for double sliding door. We received excellent recommendations from sale representative, the cost was below other quotes, and delivery and installation was faultless. We had previously contacted 2 well known companies, and we discovered The Blinds Place provided far better service and price. Happy to recommend, and will definitely use again.

We were delighted with the final result of our venetian blinds, the exact fit and the transformation of the spaces where they were fitted, all well within the agreed timeframe. The ordering, measuring and consultation process was also top notch. The consultant who initially came to our home was charming, personable and reassuringly knowledgeable and organised, happy to take the time to build a relationship and do the job properly. My recommendation is 100%.
